SARSON KA SAAG - Famous Punjabi recipe
The combination of Sarson Ka Saag topped with butter, green or red chilies and served with Makki ki roti taste too delicious and it is a famous Punjabi recipe mostly prepared in winters. Ingredients required are as below : 2 bunch sarson 1 bunch bathua leaves 1 bunch spinach leaves 2 cup chopped methi leaves 3 medium sized chopped onions 4 medium sized chopped tomatoes 3 inch finely chopped ginger 4 chopped green chilies 10 finely chopped garlic 1 teaspoon red chili powder 3 to 4 cups of water 3 tablespoon maize flour 1 tablespoon cumin powder salt to taste and as required 2 tablespoon ghee Preparation of Sarson Ka Saag : Clean and chop sarson, bathua leaves, spinach leaves and then wash them well.
