INDIAN FOOD RECIPES - Ghar Ka Khaana
Ingredients used for cooking delicious Aloo Gobi (Potatoes Cauliflower):
- 3 potatoes (cut into cubes)
- 200 grams cauliflower or gobi (cut florets into 1 1/2 inch of size)
- 2 medium onions (finely chopped)
- 1 cup tomatoes puree
- 1 tablespoon cumin (jeera)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Method to cook:
- Take a deep cooking pot, heat oil, and fry cauliflower and potatoes too for 3 minutes.
- Put them all out in a plate and heat oil in the same deep cooking pot and add cumin (jeera), minced garlic, minced ginger, finely chopped green chilies, and onions.
- Saute in low flame till the onions turn light brown in color, then add turmeric powder and tomatoes puree, salt, red chili powder, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then add fried cauliflower (gobi) and potatoes & add garam masala and stir them all.
- Cover the cooking pot and cook on a low flame until potatoes are soft & fully cooked. The veggies will release moisture and cook quickly.
- Finally, garnish the Aloo Gobi with coriander leaves.
Serve yummy Aloo Gobi with chapatis.
