Baking soda: It is also a leavening agent and pure sodium bicarbonate and it is paired with acidic ingredients like chocolates, yogurt. Butter: It is the best ingredient used for baking than other ingredients as it adds flavor and moisture. Eggs: They are the most essential ingredient in baking used for binding, flavor, thickening or glazing. Egg whites add moisture and stability whereas egg yolks add texture and flavor. Flour: It holds the ingredients together and different varieties of flours have a different level of protein which helps in baking food.
